How to download your Costco receipts as PDFs

Last updated July 5, 2026

Costco keeps about two years of your warehouse receipts online. Sign in at costco.com, open Orders & Purchases, switch to the In-Warehouse tab, click View Receipt on any trip, and use your browser's Print → Save as PDF. Repeat for each trip to download your full history.

Why download old receipts?

Your receipts are a price history — what you actually paid, item by item, trip after trip. Two years of Costco receipts shows how your staples' prices have moved, what a “good” price really is for the things you rebuy, and where another store quietly beats the warehouse. You can't see any of that from memory.

Step by step

  1. Sign in at costco.com. Use the account tied to your membership card — receipts are attached to the membership, so household cardholders' trips appear too.
  2. Open Orders & Purchases. It's in the account menu (top right on desktop, in the app under your name).
  3. Switch to the In-Warehouse tab. The default view shows costco.com orders; the In-Warehouse tab is where your store trips live.
  4. Click View Receipt. Each trip opens as a full itemized receipt — the same line items as the paper tape, including item numbers and instant savings.
  5. Print → Save as PDF. In the print dialog, pick “Save as PDF” as the destination. Name them however you like; the date is inside the file.
  6. Work backwards. Costco keeps roughly the last two years online. Ten minutes gets most households their complete history.

Good to know

  • Gas station purchases appear in the same list but have no line items worth tracking.
  • Returns show as separate entries — keep them; they correct your totals.
  • The receipts are digital PDFs with exact embedded text, which is why they can be parsed line-by-line with no OCR guessing.

What to do with the stack

If you use Pantry Deals, drag the whole stack onto the Upload page in one go — each receipt parses automatically and your price history fills in retroactively. Shopping at Whole Foods too? Their receipts live in your Amazon account: here's how to export those. More questions? See the back-fill FAQ.

Pantry Deals reads these receipts automatically.

Upload the PDFs (or forward store emails) and every line item joins your price history — then we show where your basket is cheaper across the stores you already shop. No points, no coupons.
